Today on the announcements we had our final positive message picture reveal.  Here it is:

On the announcements today, we talked about what the word “empower” meant. The meaning of empower is to make someone stronger and more confident, especially when it comes to controlling their life and their human rights.  All of us…staff…students…and community members can do this!  How? Let’s think about this and the learning we have done in the last few weeks…if we start standing up to others who bring us or others down….that empowers you and the person you are standing up for!  Showing appreciating and kindness towards others…empowers you and others.  Listening to others and recognizing your own biases and privileges empowers you and others! I challenge everyone to make a goal today of how you will work towards empowering others moving forward.

Thank you to all of our generous families who have donated to Carizon Youth Mental Health programs this past week. We have raised over $400!  Amazing staff, students and community!
