Hi Everyone,

Wow, we were EXCITED today! The dump truck and small digger arrived to begin clearing the space for the new structure! On Monday morning, we expect the pieces of the playground to arrive. The installers are hoping to have the playground in and ready for play in a day or two! In the meantime, we have been reminding students to stay clear of the equipment. We have modified our play space for nutrition breaks, with our Junior students playing out front and our Primary students playing on the soccer field. So far so good!

We ask that you ‘Save the Date’ for a little celebration! Monday, June 15th has been set aside for our official grand opening of the playground. We hope that families can pop by for a visit between 6 and 8pm. The official ribbon cutting will be at 6:45 pm.

An Ice Cream truck has been booked so that you can purchase a treat while visiting.

If you are not able to see the prices, popsicles are $3.00, ice cream cones are $3-4.00, Sundae’s are $4.50. Bringing cash will assist in keeping line-ups manageable!
