Students, staff and parents were thrilled to hear Ben Fanelli speak at our Social Responsibility assembly this morning!  Five years ago Ben suffered a life-threatening head injury. He not only recovered from this injury, he went on to become the captain of the Kitchener Rangers. Ben felt he needed to pay it forward by sharing his positive message. He founded Head Strong; Fanelli 4 Brain Injury Awareness campaign that focuses on Concussion awareness and prevention. The foundation has contributed over $18,000 to the Brain Injury Association of Canada and other beneficiaries. Thank you Ben for your inspiring message!
