Back in the Fall Lexington sent a delegation to the Safe, Caring and Inclusive Schools Conference. This delegation included the Principal, a Teacher and an EA. We also invited a Parent and Community Member, but were unable to find anyone free for this activity. We will continue to ask around as we are hoping to send a full delegation this Fall.
At this conference the group looked at school data from the SCIS survey. Last year, four parents completed the survey. We know you are busy, but would LOVE it if we could produce better results. From our results, our group decided that Lexington students do so much and should be appreciated. They began the Lexington “Gotcha” program, where they notice and highlight students doing great deeds! Just imagine what we can learn about our school with more data!
